Shadows

This series is a collection of botanical portraits in shadowed muted tones, reflecting my continued dialogue with the photogram technique, capturing images without the use of a camera. These delicate ephemeral renderings in soft subdued tones bring forth a nuance that is both quiet and intimate.

I am inspired by the imperfections and simplicity of the natural world. The evidence of time along with the reconciliation between what is there, and what is not there. The flaws, rather than the perfection, reflect the beauty and fragility of life.
